Word of the day: "rememble"

"Rememble" is a combination of remember, stumble, mumble, and maybe resemble. It means to almost but not quite remember something, or to remember something slightly incorrectly.

I was going to say "reassemble," for the way one frequently fills in the gaps in a memory by putting together fragments of impressions into something that looks about right.

That is a great word, and if I can remember it I'll use it often. I resemble it as well as rememble it.
