If I ever find another book icon I like, I might do that as well. Actually, it occurs to me that I have a portrait of me reading that was taken that I could probably use as an icon with the photographer's permission.
I didn't, it's by someone who does software development under the name "Mr. Tines", at www.ravnaandtines.com — isn't it pretty? I did do a Tines illustration myself, but I don't know where it's gotten off to.
