Songs, songs, songs
Feb. 5th, 2006 11:04 pmFour new songs for your lyrics-reading enjoyment — sorry, no MP3s yet!
First, and based on an idea proposed by
ccommack: "Troll Bridge". That'll be one tin piece, thank you.
Second, another song of Marinia — and another outlandish civil engineering project: "Put Up a Kite". Part of the tune is from a song by
catsittingstill.
Third, in the grand tradition of peppy, pattery songs that could have been comparative religion term papers, a song I've had on the back burner for quite a while: "That's My Story (and I'm Stickin' to It)". And yes, I earnestly believe that both myth and reason are necessary to human existence. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
And finally, another Jewish song: "Masquerade". This is not a silly song — it cuts right to the deeper themes of the holiday in question. And yes, I'm working my way through the whole calendar ;-).
