The only thing I can think of to say is from Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and is definitely inappropriate and probably offensive.
As for Outremer (oh my God, I am on a roll with the offensive), my friend David has some not very optimistic thoughts. It sort of reminds me of a sort of joking thing I said in the 90s, that the U.S. should just butt out of Mideast politics or nuke them all and let God sort them out (three for three!). Ug, so depressing. New leadership is needed though. Certainly here and probably everywhere.
